Last night the special report online panel discussed the potential of Governor Palin entering the race and if so how she could get win the nomination.
Bret Baier said that he has reliable sources that tell him that Palin will run. He says it’s not just rumors it’s solid information. Krauthammer describes the circumstances he thinks that Governor Palin may enter the race and lays out a path on how Governor Palin can win the nomination.
Bret Baier: I’m hearing more and more buzz that she actually may get into this race. That she actually may get in. I don’t think it’s just rumor it think it’s actually possibly going to happen… …I’m just hearing from different sources that she’s really considering it… … I’ve talked to money people who say she can flip a switch and be there, WOW!
Stephen Hayes: I thought all along that everything she’s said and everything she’s done has pointed to a possible candidacy.
Juan Williams: Governor Palin’s stature in the country is much higher in terms of profile than Michele Bachmann and especially among Tea Party Republicans. I think that even though Michele Bachmann is the chair of the Tea Party Caucus, I would say Sarah Palin is the queen of the Tea Party.
Charles Krauthammer: If you add up the Palin support and the Bachmann support in the polls, it’s in the mid 20’s, that’s equal to Romney. Assuming one of them is left and it could be Palin then you are really in a position, very strong position for the nomination.
Krauthammer finally concedes: I think she [Palin] is smart.

As a side note: Baier let it slip that they were told [by Fox] that she’s not running. Sort of vindicates our source from back in June that Fox was deliberately trying to sabotage Governor Palin.
