Frank Luntz: Palin Doesn’t Have To Play By Everybody Else’s Rules

Luntz says that should she announce she’ll have an instantaneous national operation in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.  He says that anybody that tries to guess her is making a big mistake.

He adds that while it will be difficult for Palin should she decide to run because of Michele Bachmann, they both appeal to the same base.  But Palin doesn’t have to play by everybody else’s rules’ because she has 100’s of thousands grass-root supports ready to act the moment she announces.

He says that Palin marches at the beat of her own drummer. At the Iowa state fair, unlike all the other candidates who were surrounded by security people, Palin walked  around on her own meeting, greeting and connecting with people. “She’s a breath of fresh air and doesn’t have to do it the way other candidates do it“.

He says that nothing is this campaign should be taken for granted. People have expected so many things to happen, none of which materialized.

Don’t understand his comment about the Backstabber. She’s already on the ropes (by her own doing) before Sarah has even announced. Does he mean that a Sarah announcment will somehow revitalize her faltering campaign?

Frank, Frank, Frank. So the establishment has gotten to you too, brother?

It will be difficult for Palin to win because of BACHMANN? No – it will be difficult for Bachmann because of PALIN.

In nearly every poll that bothers to put Palin in the mix, she comes out on or near the top. And I’m sure a pollster like Luntz would know that.
